Sadnrine Rousseau was an economics lecturer and researcher before being elected to the French National Assembly, and has worked in the fields of environmental economics, domestic employment and corporate social responsibility. She was vice-president of the University of Lille from 2008 to 2021.
As the #MeToo movement gets underway, she becomes a leading figure in the fight against domestic violence and for gender equality in France.
