Rachel Keke is a rising figure in French politics, a union and grassroots activist, recently elected as the LFI (La France Insoumise) deputy for the 7th constituency of Val-de-Marne. A former cleaner, she became known for her decisive role in the historic Accor group chambermaids’ strike in 2021.
Through her struggles, she defends the “essentials” and “invisibles” of society, those workers who are often forgotten, but indispensable to the smooth running of our daily lives.
Thanks to her commitment to the rights of precarious workers, particularly in the hotel industry, she embodies social struggles and demands for social justice. Her career is a model of perseverance and solidarity, as she defends a fairer, more united and egalitarian society, with particular attention to the most vulnerable workers.
