The grandson of Spanish refugees (his communist grandfather was a soldier in the Republican army), Jean-François Coulomme works as a salesman in the construction and renewable energy sectors.
He was the NUPES candidate for the legislative elections in Savoie’s fourth constituency, and came out on top in the first round with 34.85% of votes cast. In the second round, he beat the incumbent MP, Patrick Mignola, Chairman of the MoDem Group at the French National Assembly, and was elected with 50.85% of the vote.
He is committed to the fight for equal rights for men and women.
