Welcome to the Insoumis·es sans Frontières, the first summer school of La France Insoumise abroad! Here are all the information for your visit to Berlin this June.
📍 Where and when does the event take place?
The event will take place in Berlin, from June, 6th to June, 8th. It will be a physical event for the most part, but our 4 biggest conferences will also be live-streamed!
📝 How to register?
Registration is mandatory to come visit us. Simply follow the registration option in the menu. For those following us online, no registration is needed.
🎟️ How much does registration cost?
The registration fee depends on your income: :
🔹 Reduced price – 10€: For students and unemployed.
🔹 Normal price – 20€: For the guests that can afford it.
🔹 Solidarity price – 30€: For those who want to support us and contribute to the reduced price for people with lower income.
The registration fee will be collected in cash on the first day of the event.
🚆 How to come to Berlin?
🔹 By train: Berlin is well connected with international trains from France and Europe. The main station is Berlin Hauptbahnhof. The tickets for the Paris – Berlin night train are available on the websites of SNCF and ÖBB.
🔹 By plane: The Berlin Brandenburg (BER) airport has connections to most European cities.
🔹 By bus: FlixBus offers connections to the major European cities
🏨 Where to sleep in Berlin?
We recommend that you book your accommodation as soon as possible, as Berlin can be very busy!
🔹 Solidarity housing: Our local activist can host you for free. When registering to the event, please add the product “Solidarity housing” to your order. In case of any special need, you can write us at orga@insoumissansfrontieres.org
🔹 Hotel and hostels: We will soon upload a list of recommended hotels and hostels.
🚇 How to move around in Berlin?
Berlin has a great public transport network:
🔹 Subway (U-Bahn) and suburban trains (S-Bahn): the best way to move around.
🔹 Tram and bus: Very convenient for some neighbourhoods, not connected by rail.
🔹 Bike: Berlin offers a good amount of bike lanes and is very flat.
🍽️ What about catering during the event?
🔹 Catering: A Lebanese caterer will be present during the whole event, with affordable vegetarian and vegan options.
🔹 Other: Berlin is a multicultural city with a ton of options.
♿ Is the event accessible to people with disabilities?
Yes! The venue is accessible to people with disabilities and we will work to accomodate any special need. Please communicate them to us via orga@insoumissansfrontieres.org
