Despite some progress, many people in Germany and around the world still suffer the effects of racism and other forms of discrimination. This is largely due to centuries of colonialism.
During colonialism, many explicitly racist structures and systems were introduced, the consequences of which are still felt today and have a lasting impact on many areas of life, such as culture, science, politics and the economy. By shedding light on this history, we aim to contribute to even more lasting change.
